Looks like Tracy may shack up with Katie in the girl's room. It'll be the first meet of any kind that katie can actually share her room with another FEmale!

Hans, you little yogurt-through-a-straw-sipping-bastard, you better be here.

Oh, I might have stirred up a hornet's nest of competition tonight with the Portland and Seattle Grand Prix communities........more details on that later. ;)

I'm now booked and reserved at the KOA for arriving Wednesday 23, staying 4 nights, departing Sunday 27. Tent site #44. No idea what time I'll arrive, just did the Googlemap and it's a 9.5 hour drive, just depends how much sleep I get and when I can take off.

About this dragstrip track. . . has anyone taken an SE before, or would they just laugh? What kind of quarter mile time can one expect from an L36 with light mods such as a K&N intake, magnaflow exhaust, and an Intense basic tune PCM? Would I just be wasting my time? :bhuh:

I just need to know if I should bother to try to make the Wednesday track outing.

Bummer, Mike.

Bugsi, nobody will :bsnicker: at you at all. We have raced (and will be again) against a bunch of GP GT's (L36) and Impala's. There have been L36's in the other lane all previous years. Ironically, we've never fielded an L36, L27, LN3, or LG3 in our lane in the previous 4 meets. It's always been all L67's.

With bracket racing, you have just as much of a shot at the title as anyone. In fact, you have the advantage of a car that is easier to launch consistently. ;)

Mark, Test-N-Tune at the track is Thursday, not Wednesday. I would like to see you run at least during T-N-T. And maybe we can convince you to run Staurday as well. Depending on weather conditions, you should be in the upper 15's on Thursday night with the heat. If Saturday is cool enough, you may find yourself in the low 15's. In the past, Saturday has produced almost all of our Personal Bests.

Also, where, exactly in California are you coming from. I have not made my final travel plans, and it would be cool to meet on I-5 (if you are going that way) and caravan up with you if it worked out. :beerchug:

Ah, well then, if it's on Thursday, I'm totally in. Just ordered my Intense PCM today. =D>
Yes, I'm definitely curious to see what a fairly straightforward L36 will do. I'll go to the track!

I'm in the south San Francisco Bay area. It's mostly I-5 straight up. I work Tuesday, so I don't know if I'll head out late Tuesday and drive at night and arrive Wednesday in the morning, or if I'll get some sleep and head out early Wednesday and arrive Wednesday evening. I'm kind of a nightowl and I like night driving because there's less traffic and it's cooler out, but I don't know if I can pack, get the car all pretty, go to work, and drive to WCBF without planning some sleep time in there somewhere! :-k

No pressure, Mark. Again, if it works out, great. If not, then no big deal. When it gets closer, we'll see what lines up and what doesn't. Your trip would be day #2 for me. Phoenix to Fresno or Stockton or Sacramento or Mt.Shasta is my day #1 depending on what happens and how things line up. I still am not sure what day I will be able to leave, but I am shooting for a Wednesday, early evening arrival at the KOA as may latest arrival time.

Only on Test-N-Tune night, Thursday. Saturday is limited to GM powered vehicles.

We could do a 427 or 454 swap on the Bimmer on Friday, though. Then you could run, Saturday
