My trailer is 1/3 of the way there. Took it to Arlington for 5 days and left it there, I'll pick it up on the way down to Corvalis next weekend.

I'm about in the same spot although I'm gonna hook up and go next wednesday/thursday.

What kind of trailer do you have?

Right now I've got the wife's GP nice and shiny and clean and ready to go. My Bonneville still needs a good cleaning, I don't know when or if I'll have time to do it before we take off. I'm bringing a full set of tails for my car for tinting, and a case of VHT Nightshades. (Plenty to share!)

If anyone is familiar with bodyshop or paintshops in Corvallis, I'm interested in having a shop professionally clear them after tinting. Anybody have any knowledge of paint shops in Corvallis?

Yeah, Bill Wren's place ;) Trust me, between all of us we can get them done with a beautiful clear coat ;)

I may buy a can or two from ya, been thinking of a light coat for my expedition's tailights.

I just don't know if I trust rattle-can clearcoat. Since I have the extra tails, it would be easy to tint them and then drop them off at a pro for clearing. Anyone have any other opinions on this?

And Paul, what is your excuse for not attending??

Personally I would trust Bill's rattlecan clearcoat job. But if I had to name a good body shop in Corvallis, it would be Randy Jones Chevrolet. The dealership that I work for (University Honda) sends all of its cars that require body and paint work over to them.

Glad that you're finally coming Taylor, it'll be good to see you again!

Thanks! They came up near the top of a Google search too. I'll be there all week, so I can drop them off for clearing. I just want to make sure it's a really professional looking job.

Paul I will not be making it. I didn't know if you caught that in Willwrens thread.

The biggest concern will be using a clear coat that does not eat the vht off. When I was playing with the broken tail on my 89, I used some different stuff and it reacted with the vht and made them look wrinkle coated.

Yes it really does suck. BIG TIME! :sad5:

I don't mind doing the 'paperwork'. It's easy and keeps me involved, albeit from a distance.

But don't dwell on the members that can't be there. Revel with the ones that do make it and have fun for me! :beerchug:

I have relatives from Ontario driving out for the same weekend to celebrate our Sea Fest here.
My son can't afford to go anywhere and I cannot leave him home alone.
My severence runs out next month and I don't have any work in September.

Laura and I are planning on driving somewhere in September after we dump Victor at University. So all you guys and gals south of the border better prepare for a mini meet very soon after WCBF.

FREEDOM 55 !!!! Yeeeee Haaaaa !!

We'll see how long my enthusiam lasts.

Putting a tentative list of vehicles together for the annual photo.
If I count correctly we have 12 Bonnevilles, 4 Grand Prixs, and 1 LeSabre. (Did we have more cars last year?)
The Expedition, F250, and Silverado are welcome to join, of course, but I don't know if they'll all be at Woodburn.

I've ordered the cars here ascending by year and then by ascending style, with its color and owners.
We'll use this as a starting point as a guide for arranging the cars for the annual photo.

Bonne's:
89 LE [red]: Matt & Wendy
92 SSEi [color?]: Keith
93 SSEi [green]: (Zilla): Bill
94 SE [white]: John & Margaret
94 SSEi [black]: Ray
95 SLE [green]: (SLEeper): Bill
96 SSEi [gold]: Jordon
97 SE [silver]: Mark & Heidi
00 SLE [white]: Jared
00 SSEi [red violet]: O'Neil
00 SSEi [black]: Matt & Wendy
02 SSEi [charcoal]: Keven

Non-Bonne's:
88 LeSabre T-Type [color?]: Freddy
97 GPGTP [white]: Landon
97 GPGTP [red]: Celin
98 GPGTP [black]: Thomas
01 GPGT [blue]: Mark & Heidi

Are we missing anybody?

I think it would be cool to see a drag race between the trucks with its trailers attached...

(hint, hint)

Bugsi, remove my 89, Wendy will probably not be there and she will be using that while I am there.

That's too bad, the 89 made a good showing last year!
