Drove her to Tulare to pick up some engineering drawings. I'm wearing a polo shirt and light pants, its in the 70's and overcast/ foggy today. Definitely not rubbing it in. :poke:

I looked over all my vacuum lines trying to find a source of a leak. Found none, replaced the line from the top of the supercharger to whatever the little vacuum actuator on the front is as well as the plug next to it. I seem to have a small exhaust leak but only under a load so I'm having a hard time finding it. Found that the starter heat shield was rubbing the header tube so I took that off thinking it could be causing false knock.

Went for a test drive, still have knock retard, 3.5 deg. LTFT's are good at a cruise, within 1 deg, under heavy load it added 4.5 degrees, but I had a max of 6.5, but I believe that was while I was idling around a parking lot.

So I filled up at a different gas station, Chevron and dumped in a bottle of Lucas octane boost to see if that doesn't have an effect. Maybe it's just CA *shoot* gas? Any input is welcome.

Got the exhaust done on the Tahoe yesterday, only to find out my radiator tank cracked in that sub zero weather last week. *fook* winter. :banghead:

Dropped the oil Pan Thursday and replaced the gasket. I have found no leaks so far. I have used a large sheet of paper under the eng. and I think that seals it. I did, however, break the oil level sensor and had to replace that. It was cheap. $15

Rock Auto, thanks for asking. Won;t have to buy that again. When you drop and reinstall the pan remove the oil level sensor first. Otherwise you brake the tip off the sensor

Had to put a new radiator in the SE yesterday. Couldn't find the HD radiator that also had oil cooler ports, so it's got the slightly thinner 7/8" thick one now, going to try a few places locally to get the HD one repaired.

What did he do to "Unlock" it? Usually you just get whatever options are available in the PCM/BCM for the platform/applicable year. On/off, yes/no, etc in the personalization menus.

That was pretty much all it was, something like "remove theftlock? Yes/No" and when Ryan clicked yes the radio came on.

I need to wash mine again... one trip to work and full of salt again. I actually drove Beetle Baily because my wife won't wash her car and so I do it when I can get a hold of the car... I forgot how warm her car gets. The Buick needs a thermostat (which arrived today!) and the Jeep has no floor boards so she cant hold the heat as well.as should

didn't do anything today to my 2002 SLE. Got a big weekend planned though. I will fix the drivers side reclining seat that quit working. It is a manual seat back. Hopefully I will have time wash and thoroughly clean my car. With temps in the 50's and sunny, it will be nice to spend some quality time with my car outside. :btruestory:
