Yes indeed. I realized that life is too short to die in a car accident. Even though thru out my whole life if i dont even ever get in a car accident, i'll always know that if i did, i would have had a better chance in living. Putting on a seatbelt will only benefit you.
I for one have learned my lesson and hope everyone who was like me to change as well.

I always use my seatbelt...it feels like my car is hugging me.
I told and convinced both of my kids at a young age that the car would not start unless everyone in it had buckled up...they always wear them to this day.

It took me a while to get into the habit of wearing a seatbelt. I can think of about 200 reasons off the top of my head to wear one now, about 200 US dollars in seatbelt tickets
. The Bonneville's seatbelts are really comfortable though, one of the reasons I hated seatbelts was because they were uncomfortable.

Re: Almost totaled the bonnie
guess it all depends on how you started out. my parents made me wear it every single time when i was younger, and it just became habit. i simply don't see how you could forget, because its just second nature to me. I guess if you were used to not wearing them it is more difficult.

Re: Almost totaled the bonnie
Exactly right. When i was a kid growing up driving with my dad, he never told me to put on the seatbelt, i think its because he's old skool. But, i will be sure to teach my kids and friends to make sure to put it on. You wont know what it does until that day comesbonnevillain wrote:guess it all depends on how you started out. my parents made me wear it every single time when i was younger, and it just became habit. i simply don't see how you could forget, because its just second nature to me.
