Well. I feel incredibly stupid. I think I found my problem, assuming this diagram is correct. Anyone wanna guess my goof? And no, it's not that I used the wrong relay. I'll test my theory in the morning.

So, I moved the ground to an actual ground (not a positive terminal #-o ) and put the wire from terminal 2 to 12v switched again. Didn't change a thing. I didn't have time to mess with it, I'll have to get to it tomorrow and bring it to work and meter some wires and see what's what...

Well, between proper ground and a proper splice into the harness with 12v switched, the fans work great now! Thanks for all your help Mike!

Turned out my splice to 12v switched was bad, everything else metered ok.

This is the highest the fans go now, they come on at 180 determined with the live data scanner at work.
