MWBF'08; Which weekend works?...UPDATE!!!!!

Well folks, I have some unfortunate news for MWBF'08....I was talking to my parents about the dates and they informed me that they might be selling the house. :sad5: SO, since I dont really know what is going to be happening the next few months I dont want to get this thing set and then have someone buy the house in the middle of Sept or something and then REALLY throw a tie in the fan belt.

MWBF'08, per happing in Sycamore at my place, is postponed.

If someone has any ideas about another place to do it or have a day where we all can meet up at a park/State Park/etc. It'd still be cool to do something, OR we can ixnay the whold '08 and start with getting someone(s) to run MWBF'09.

Hm. I really don't feel like putting a lot of responsibility on myself for another meet just yet, but there is an option of doing the greasy stuff at my parents place. My dad built a nice workshop out of half of a barn. This is only 10-15 minutes north of 01bonneSC's parent's place.

Its in the country on a farm with lots of area of camping out if needs be. Even better is a campfire area with a pit made out in the middle of an old horse pasture.

This IS an option, just kinda in the "omgwtfanxiety" state of mind for a bit.

I gotta think about it but how does everyone feel about this?

I woulkd love to attend one of these meets and get to know some of you folks in the real world. Is the date set yet? I'm busy the third weekend, at least most of it.

Keep in mind you will need to bring a tent or spoon with someone else who has room.
