sseiman01 and i have been conversing back and forth today and I want to be clear on this so that there are no hard feelings between any of us. The agreement between all of us is to share this Tuner back and forth either by way of ups/usps or personal delivery or we all get together (prefered) to learn. hptuner excepts paypal and
all transactions need to done through them. If one wants to purchase his own cable set, that is his own choice. None of us should need to keep the tuner in their posession for more than a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks? We need to decide that within the next couple of days. If you are not able to get the funds together in a certain amount of time, the ones that have paid should be informed and then they can make the decision to ask for their money back or continue waiting (again their choice). I think this should work for all of us and I hope this sounds reasonable and look forward to having some fun making our car preform alittle better.

I've got things covered on my end as of next week. As I stated in the last PM, I've been in contact with everyone and will get things covered by the end of next week. Once the order is placed I will let everyone know.

I just had someone tell me that this setup might only be able to be set up on one computer because of licensing. We had all thought that we could use it on each of our pc's. If thats the case how do you feel about that? I dont like that myself. Maybe someone that has one can chime in. I will call today and find out.

Definitely call and check, I don't know if I like that we can't each have a copy for our own use.

Boreas asked: Since we established we can have the program installed on each of our computers, what about use, could I use just the license for my 97 on the install on my own computer? Or is this going to be a pool of licences into one?
And would the multiple install cause a use issue where only one of us could use it one at a time, and in order for the next guy to use it, we'd have to "deactivate" our copy so the next guy could reactivate on his install?
Just some ideas for questions... Answer from Jay at HPtuners: The licensing is stored on the interface
itself. You also need the interface to communicate to the vehicle, so only
the person that has possession of the interface can tune, at a given time.
Let me know if that doesn't clear it up for you.

It clears it up. I'm up for anything really. Since I'm an unmodded NA I'm not gonna be stealing this from you guys for long if at all. It's just not necessary. Also, my money has just been sent today.

Now my question... Since I need to do partial payment with the paypal money you all sent me, and the credit card I'm using for my own share of this, How in the world do I get the Paypal balance to be used toward the amount due from HPT in addition to a credit card? I'm lost and do not have the a low enough balance on my credit card to cover it all and transfer the money out of paypal.

Going to have to call my credit card company tomorrow, they think it's a fraudulent charge... My dumb luck. I just need to select the CC as payment and it will use the PP balance THEN the CC, solving my confusion. Now I just need Discover to know this is legit.

Sounds great! Really looking forward to this.
Only thing im looking from this is basic stuff, tune for 180 t-stat, transmission longevity, and a little bit of performance increase to boot would be awesome and ill be set for a long while. No need for me to get hardcore with this.

Same with me guys. Plus I'm NA, so there's not much to do besides the tstat, move shift down points, and torque management.
