I have used the same Spectre Airfilter for about 3 years cleaning it regularly and everything and i have never had one single problem and as it goes for FWI you can build those using spectre parts and still come up with the same results!

My uncle has a Spectre CAI on his 3.0 Ranger, don't have any solid numbers, but having driven the truck before and after the intake was installed, it did gain a little pep... It's been on there for over 3 years and has never given any problems. Far from the most expensive system out there, and I'm sure he could have gotten more power out of a more expensive system, but I wouldn't go so far as to say the Spectre filter is "junk"...
