The 3.9 sucks as far as mileage goes.. The 3.5 does do better but I think it may have 3.05 gears as well..
Heck I think Sandrocks impy is rated for 27 Hwy, DOD tho.. But isn't the 3900 a DOD as well?
Strange how a 3800 from back in the day with 3.06 gears was rated at 19 city and 29 Hwy( yeah I know, old rating system ), But consistently did better than the ratings.. 30-32 was not uncommon with the 3.06 gears..
I think I too would recommend a 3500 V6 Impy if mileage is a concern..
