Lol....heck no. Colton is the youngest of my brood of 4...so he's well educated in the world of Tracy. He's pretty quick witted and is not surprised by his mother's antics.

FYI to all those attending this year, a new law took effect January 1st.

No cell phone to the ear. You must use speakerphone or some other form of hands-free device (bluetooth, headset, etc). You can DIAL from your phone, but it can't go to your ear. This is a primary offense, so they can pull you over for just the cell violation.

We have the same law here.

Even if you are just texting, they can pull you over and it is a $150 fine.

I will be turning my cell phone off and using the two way radio. Cell phone roaming charges are bad.

Speaking of rules, I think it's time to speak of some rules of the road for use during our group driving excursions like to the Coast on Wednesday morning. These have mostly been followed in the past and I don't want to have any incidents this year.

We don't race to see who makes it there first. [-X

We have a lead car and a trailing car, both with radar detectors. Everyone stays in a group with occasional blasts but try to maintain 10 over.

We only pass when the lane is clear and safe and only one at a time passes. Normal rules of highway driving.
Following two seconds behind the guy in front.
Oh and no boxing in foreign cars or any other vehicle, even if he is an a-hole.
I know how I would react if a group of Honda's boxed me in. :angry4:

The fun parts are on the windy three lane passing sections where you can get some good side by side action.

A couple of years there have been a small group that leaves at a later time to meet us at the coast.....but somehow they always seem to beat the group there. Names are withheld to protect the guilty.

:laughing3:

:bluetwitch: I shouldn't have said anything! #-o

I just got a job offer on a Project for Suncor Fort Mac that ends with a July 19th deadline. Starts on Monday and I have to decide tomorrow.
It would mean a move to Richmond Vancouver.
If I take it, I get to continue with the Design in October for the next year.........decisions, decisions.

.....but I could still make the Meet. :bhuh:
