My Firebird has plenty of power but at 140 mph it must spin at 5600 rpm in top 3rd gear. I don't take it much over 5000 so 130 is about max.

I used to love my original 2.41 super speedway gearing. The car would do 160 mph but the bottom end was boring.

I've seen 140MPH, did it in less than a mile and a half(2.41km for the canucks
). The car is definitely not aerodynamically designed for those speeds :) . Most scared I've been in a vehicle, wayyyyyyyyyyy to light over 125mph for my liking.

I am at 115mph as a max. But yeah heavy stuck to the road is a must at top speeds. :)

dirtracr95 and I were getting closer. He was going to help me with my 94 hd 4t60E rebuild. He was great with me, but I am glad you fished this out clm2112. =D>

Note if you pull the injectors to obserbe fuel delivery...make sure you leave the plugs in and disconnect the ign. Believe me
