Re: WCBF08 - July 22-27
Ever wonder what would happen if you drove all the way to WCBF and something broke? Not a problem. On Thursday, I sent a text message that "my engine was sitting funny" . . . figured if I used "girl speak" Bill would call to see what the heck I was talking about! He did. Long story short, I arrived sometime around 9 a.m. with a broken motor mount and SC bearings that were shot. We were leaving for the track at 1 p.m. Thanks to a bunch of helping hands we got her back together in time and a new PB was set. Here's some pics:

Celin, it was actually fun after we looked back on it. I think between your car running and my 93 running, we had two miracles capped off by a glorious stroke of perfect timing at I-5.

I've only been gone from WCBF08 for 8 hours and I'm still quivering from all the adrenaline and warm feelings experienced over the week.
Wow.
Thank you again Bill, for hosting another fantastically orgasmic car festival.
Got to start planning for an even better WCBF09 !! Bill can do it now with some good Canadian (beer)

It was quite fun . . . I love it when a plan comes together! I liked the look on some of the Bonne owners faces when we popped my hood . . . the look said "holy crap, how the hell did GM cram all that stuff in such a small area". Us GP owners really do envy all the room under your hoods! You guys are now GP certified!willwren wrote:Celin, it was actually fun after we looked back on it.
