They have a pic up finally.
I'm tempted to register as a bidder in case it does go cheap.

It takes a lot to become a registered bidder, lol. You got to have a note from your bank saying that you're good for the money before hand and all that stuff. The car's gonna go for at least $30k.

That monte yesterday went to over $100k, so anything's possible.

The Monte Carlo also had Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s signature and history with it (Whether that helped it that much or not...). It would be cool to see The Spirit Of Bonneville go over $100k but I seriously doubt it. I would rather see it go on the cheaper side to a current or soon-to-be member here.

We should have Tom, Bob or Vince run over there, and hand the winning bidder a Pontiac Bonneville Club.com card! That'd be sweet!

Better yet, Apply the Pontiac Bonneville Club Decal before it goes up on the auction block.

I'd love to hang around that car and talk to those that show interest in it, and eventually hand the winning bidder a club card, but alas, I am not attending the event this year. :sad5:

This is lame. I've been watching online and on TV all day hoping it would make it on TV. I realized a little earlier that it was going to be up for bid after Speed stopped coverage. But they just cut the signal for the online video feed.

I guess I'm just stuck refreshing the car list until the price pops up...
After seeing what the other GM Collection cars went for, I don't see this going over $20k if that. GM sold all their vehicles with a "scrap title", so they can't be driven on the road. Most of the GM collection were, besides having the scrap title, completely legal to drive on the road. I don't know if there's anything you can do about that.

I didn't expect it to make it on TV anyway. Most of the GM collection was done this morning before coverage started or in a short series during commercials. I was watching online about and hour and a half before coverage started. I don't know why they would quit
I have it open still though, in hopes that it'll come back on.
