Running the original in my '04. Car struggles a little in the cold to start, but that may be a function of it being cold out. So it should be good for a little while yet.

Mine in the 00 is still the original. Never had a single problem with it and it has never tested low or died. I have never given any thought to replacing it.

Well, with 86% stating it lasted more than four years, I will wait until
next fall to replace mine. It will be four to five years old then, depending
on when the car was made. I'm sure I just jinxed myself and I will be
stranded next month somewhere.

I know I'm a bit late on this, but I got over 8 years out of mine. Just replaced it in the fall and I think that is mostly due to the increased load I was placing on it during off times, sitting someplace watching movies on my new LCD head unit.
Otherwise, it was a good battery up until then, just didn't want to go into the winter with a questionable unit.

Bad alts can do that, the Delphi unit is better than the older A/C Delcos, but they're not immune to problems either.
