well, if you messed only with the sender then yes, that is the most likely issue
check your wiring again........later

If I got the pos and negative to the pump could that fry it? I'm sure its just loose

sorry, I dont understand the question - the pump is many years old so it could crap out at any time

My 2000 SSEi pump went bad in 2013 with 270,000 klm on it.

best thing is to check wiring in morning and hope no damage was done - the sender wires are different from the 4 wire connector to the pump so I would say NO.

have nice dreams and fix it in morning............later

Well after looking online these fuel pumps are cheap, I ordered one with Amazon prime it will be here in two days, I feel this is better instead of leaving me on the side of the road, the fuel pump was wining before and I dident know that means it's on its way out

ok, that sounds like a plan - I hope you bought a direct fit - most good ones come with the upgraded harness that you have to splice into existing plug but its pretty easy
