At some point you have assess your toys. Sounds like passing it along was the right thing to do at this point. If it's just collecting dust in the garage and not getting used it's wasting away. And if you get close with a crowd that uses that kind of bike, you can always pick up another one.
The Suzuki cleaned up really nice and looks pretty awesome. The new owner should love it!
