Dude, those cars are crap.... hope you still have your receipt! We'll have to have a little "Get to know your E46" day when it warms up March or April. Maybe a photo shoot...
Looks very clean inside, that 6th cog and rear end ratio make me jelly!

Yeah it's definitely a lot perkier than the older e46s I've driven. A limited slip would be pretty nice though.
Getting close to finished detailing it. I'll post some more pics tonight.

Not saying you can't make the Bimmer amazing, it just won't be as unique as the Bonneville is. It's almost like the fact that the Bonneville is the worse car, that it is actually the cooler car. Hahaha

1966 Pontiac Catalina. 4 door, 389 high compression motor. Great, great, grandparents bought it new in '67 and had it up until her death in 1986. Car is a southern Indiana car. After she passed, I took posession of it and have had it since (now that I think about it, I've had it ~29 years, which is longer than they owned it...). It was my car in high school, so it's now seen it's better day.
Some day, when time and money are readily available, it'll be redone.

66 Catalina with 389! Whoosh, what a car. I love those boats. My dad had a white 67 with the 400 and I tried my best to get it from him but he wouldnt agree...claiming it was "too much car" for me starting out. I have to admit he was probably right because I couldnt seem to drive it without standing on it (it sounded SO good...and it was a mover...at least far better than my 69 Skylark 350)
A guy who worked in the shop with me at Chrysler Plymouth dealer 30+yrs back had a lovely blue Catalina ragtop, blue with white top and interior, 389 w/3 deuces and those beautiful 10 lug factory cast wheels. Gorgeous car!
