I'd love to get a 1993 SSEi, in dark green and gold cross laces. One of my favorite ways to build a Bonneville. It's gotta be 1993 cause that's my year…. Hahahaha

Re: Best year Pontiac bonneville
I'm going to go with the 87-91. I had the money to get a later model one, but I chose the 91 because I wanted a metal intake. I know I may just be overly cautious, but I did not like the idea of a plastic intake at all. I do not want the slightest possibility of coolant mixing with my oil at all!
Before that I drove a 77 Coupe DeVille. It was no coincidence that it had an exhaust heated cast iron intake, external oil pump, and a turbo 400 transmission. The only thing that stopped me was the fuel mileage. After I sold it the gas prices went down, just my luck lol.
I appreciate well built cars, more than anything else. I wish they still made checkers with the chevrolet inline 6 cylinder (No timing Chain to break!), Turbo 400 tranny, and ford 9 inch differential.
Therefore when it came to the Bonnevilles, I picked the most traditionally built one I could find, that delivered the fuel economy I was seeking. The 91 seems to fit the bill.

2001 SSEi. Connolly inserts, two stage fuel pump, swoopies with big shiny nuts, and classic door badges.

I like the 7 band EQ on the 94 radio rather than the 5 band on the older radios.... that's about it, I like both radio styles about the same. But a 5 band EQ is a lot better than no EQ at all.John Deere Boy wrote: What is better about the 94 radio? Just curious, i've never used one.
