I installed the boat mount from Andrew 60 days ago on my 2001 SSEi with 200k miles. Put 8k miles on the Bonneville since the boat mount, and am super happy with this solution. I installed a anchor motor mount prior and it failed weeks after the install.

This is the way to go if you are replacing your motor (trans) mount.

Still selling these at a consistent rate. I've made and sold probably over 100 so far. I just got done making another HUGE batch.

I had to increase the price to $20 shipped from the original $16 shipped just to cover my costs a little better. My supplier ran out of stock and I had to get them elsewhere.

Just got done installing mine today and what a difference. You certainly cant visually tell the old one is bad until you actually take it out. Glad I found this site. Thanks.

harofreak00 wrote:Top it off with the lock nut. Use a 2nd person or your extremely long arms to hold the bolt head on the bottom while you tighten the lock nut on the top. Tighten it enough that it starts to squeeze on the boat roller. Lower the jack and you are done.
So I did this, and after a few days I noticed that I can spin the bolt freely. Should I just tighten it down snug or do I need to jack the engine back up and start there again?

Just snug it up. Tighten it enough that it compresses the boat roller about 1/4".

Andrew,
Thanks for the quick shipment. I installed the mount last weekend and couldn't be happier with it so far.
