I myself think it's coming back, just give it time...

No, IMHO the G8 is definitely not the new bonneville!
Well Razr89a, the G8 is supposed to be the successor to the Bonneville and the Grand Prix, now is Pontiac still going to make Grand Prix's? Who Knows, but I can for sure say one thing: The Bonneville is "gone forever in the times of sand".

You should try driving around Maple Grove, Minnesota. You would swear that Bonnevilles and GP's were the best selling cars. There are SO many of them. I have been seeing a lot more G6's lately but honestly I'm not a big fan of the G6. My dad has a 3.5 G6 and I hate the interior and the car feels really limited when in first gear, on the freeway though the thing is really nice. I haven't been inside a G8 but if the interior is anything like the G6 I'm sure I'd be disappointed.

I don't understand how Bonneville's had disappointing sales. The 3800 almost seems legendary to many people I run into and everyone seems to LOVE the interior of my Bonne (bigass leather power seats, very clean and roomy). It's so comfortable to drive. I swear half the time I have people in the back seat they end up passing out. My friends often have a hard time believing my speedometer. Often times they will bitch at me for driving slow and I have to point out that I am going 5 over the limit already and we aren't going slow (my speedometer is accurate BTW). It seems to me everyone I run into knows about my car and has nothing but compliments.
