Misfire . . . AGAIN!

Gasket for throttle body wasn't in stock, so I just changed the fuel filter to see if it wouldn't make another incremental increase in performance. It misfires a tiny bit worse now. :(

oh ya, and I smell like gas now. :-$

Try to get your hands on a MAF that you know is good. Whether it be a junk yard, a friend or relative with a 3800 or buy one. If it is bad cleaning it is going to do you no good.

That way you can at least eliminate that possibility for sure. A bad MAF can make the car do some weird stuff that will make you think other wise. I did the same thing and finally changed it and fixed the problem.
