Thanks nos4blood. Based on the long shift/max pressure issues I am having, would you recommend one of the two kits over the other?

Been doing some online research, and based on posts both from this forum and from Grand Prix forum, the Transgo is preferred over the ZZP. Transgo has metal spacers and springs while ZZP has plastic spacers and no springs. I also read about an Intense shift kit, that is apparently better than both.

I tried to find Intense kit website and searched on Ebay - nothing. If Intense is the best way to go, can anyone tell me where to go to order this kit?

There is a thread about the DIY kit somewhere, cant find it. Gotta piecemeal it together but I think it ends up being $30 with the filter. Spacers and springs.

Ah there's Intense...thanks! For the extra $ over the Transgo, is it really worth getting the Intense? With shipping it would be $50+ more. Transgo doesn't show a filter included, but I don't need one as I just had mine replaced 8000km ago.

Here's a link to the homemade shift kit.

Honestly, if you don't wanna piece your own together, I'd just go with Transgo. It's a really good kit too.

My 05 SLE also had PCS issues shortly after purchasing. Luckily the car had a warranty and this was covered under the warranty. I also test drove one other 05 SLE which was having the same PCS issue. Not sure when the upgrade went into effect..but I know these two had issues. Perhaps they were old PCS's since 05 was the last year and they were just using up the parts they had...

A transmission cooler could also help bandaid the issue your seeing. On a warm summer day (90 degrees), my trans cooler lowers my temperatures about 30-40 degrees. This should keep the PCS from getting so warm and malfunctioning. Really a bummer this issue arouse again after having the PCS replaced.

My suspicion is that the Bonnevilles never got the upgraded parts, just like we never got the Series III. It's less about year and more about model run.
