I was the "baby" of the meet last year, 17.

But I'm 18 now!

I do drink occasionally. Normally on special occasions (mainly New Years and when I turned 18).

Oh, with my work schedule I realized I need an earlier date. See, first 90 days I work I'm off Sun and Mon. After the 90 days my schedule changes to being off Tues and Wed.

Sept. date please! And take my Oct. vote off!

OK, OK, this isnt freaking Alcoholics Anonymous, back on topic!!!.. ...... :beerchug: .....Yes, Fun shall be had by all!!!! I dont know how many days are left but looks like the first weekend is gonna win, I'll let it run this week and then start the official thread after final OKs by the property owners(...meh parant #-o ).

Just for the sake of asking for those of us who want to drag I was thinking maybe doing it on Sunday so we can have Sat for Mods and Show/Shine stuff, does that sound cool? We would probably be running till 4 or 5pm at Byron.

Dear OP,

I have no idea who you are, but I suddenly really like you. :) I was just wondering if someone was going to get this together this year. :)

Any of those weekends would work for me. I'm a Sycamoron myself, so PLEASE contact me if you'd like help setting this up.

Thank you thank you thank you!

Re: MWBF'08; Which weekend works?...UPDATE!!!!!

Post by 01bonneSC »

Well folks, I have some unfortunate news for MWBF'08....I was talking to my parents about the dates and they informed me that they might be selling the house. :sad5: :angry7: SO, since I dont really know what is going to be happening the next few months I dont want to get this thing set and then have someone buy the house in the middle of Sept or something and then REALLY throw a tie in the fan belt.

MWBF'08, per happing in Sycamore at my place, is postponed.

If someone has any ideas about another place to do it or have a day where we all can meet up at a park/State Park/etc. It'd still be cool to do something, OR we can ixnay the whold '08 and start with getting someone(s) to run MWBF'09.

Shabbona Lake State Park is ~20min away from DeKalb. It's scenic. There's camping, fishing, paddleboating, etc there. Perhaps we could meet there instead? As far as a spot for car work goes, though, I got nothin'.

(I'm a horrible influence, aren't I)

I'd love to go to this meet, but it's just a bit too far away, especially after WCBF and all.
