My car has had a complete LED conversion..all my interior and exterior lighting has been changed from regular bulbs to LED's. All the bulbs were purchased from www.v-leds.com. They stuff isn't cheap, but I have never been disappointed in anything I have purchased. They also have great customer service and have replaced any defective product I have encountered with no questions asked.G1eitz wrote:Where did you get the led strip? And can you put the switchbacks in how it is or does it need an hid conversion kit?
So do you need to run load resistors to have these things up front in the turn signals? Or are the load resistors necessary only for the back?yonkerse wrote:I do have load resisters on my car, only because I'm running LED turn signals in the rear as well. I installed my switchbacks first, and didn't need the load resistors.
We stuck a switchback in my car when he was here, IIRC, you don't need load resistors on the front.nos4blood70 wrote:So do you need to run load resistors to have these things up front in the turn signals? This is correct. If only replacing the fronts to LED bulbs...switchbacks or not...you don't need load resistors. Now, if your replaced the front and rear turn signals to LED, then the overall line resistance drops since the LED's require less power, requiring load resistors.SSEiMan01 wrote:We stuck a switchback in my car when he was here, IIRC, you don't need load resistors on the front.nos4blood70 wrote:So do you need to run load resistors to have these things up front in the turn signals?
