Got the new replacement for my lost key less entry remote control, so I programmed it. Took me 18 seconds, very easy.
Installed a new replacement for the lost right rear side bumber reflector. Easy, took me 47 seconds.
Painted and installed new rear bumper (exhaust) shields. The reason for this was that, since the old ones looked broken (only like an upside-down U, and not like and O), I had ordered new ones. But when the new ones arrived, I realized by looking at them that the "problem" was just that someone had installed the old ones 180 degress wrong (the end that should point rear, was installed pointing front). O well, I painted the new ones anyways, and installed them. One of the old ones was actually broken. Otherwise easy, but when removing the old ones, one of the bolts was totaly rusted (some idiot had used bolts that rust), so it took me a while to remove it. Total time with painting 3 hours.

Checked and re-gapped the plugs and did a compression check. Definately going with a 3.2 pulley (which is ordered).

Washed both Bonnevilles.
Removed and reattached a trim piece on the SLEeper.
Re-charged the AC on the LeSabre (after troubleshooting).
Washed the T-bird
Washed Katie's Sentra.
Washing 5 cars in one day sux.

F21 on the dash and console. Noticed that my front and rear door speakers aren't working. Looked into it and couldn't figure it out, gave up and went home for today

Well, I abused it a bit on Saturday and again today hauling steel shelving components from one store to the other. Seriously compressed my rear suspension under all that weight. My rear shocks could stand to be replaced and putting all that metal in the trunk didn't help matters. Then I ended up getting off work a couple of hours earlier than expected and decided to make a run to my favorite junk yard. Got a climate control cluster for $12 and a pair of dual sun visors out of a '96 Olds LSS for $5 each. Nice upgrade. I'd been looking at some on eBay but couldn't quite stomach $55, including shipping, for the pair.
I got the driver's sun visor installed, but got stymied on the passenger's. One of the screws holding it in was a torx and somehow I've misplaced two of my five torx screw drivers including the smallest one, which is what I needed. Oh well, guess I'll go borrow one from Auto Zone later this week.
I'll also install the climate control cluster in the next day or so. Someone had taken the knobs off the one I harvested, so I found some from a '92 model to put on it. The design is a little different form those on the '95. I'll try them both and see which I like better.

Changed the motor oil, did a pan drop and filter change on the transmission, and then replaced the front tranny mount that was starting to go south.

I got everything installed yesterday. I found a screw from one of the Olds sun visors in my pocket Sunday evening, so I did not re-use the rogue torx screw. The charcoal sun visors actually look pretty neat against the light gray headliner. The climate control cluster went in easily and solved my blower speed problem. Back up to four speeds instead of just two. I finally decided to put the knobs from my original control cluster onto the one I installed. I just didn't like recessed '92 knobs.
To celebrate getting all that stuff installed, I gave the car its second wash since I've owned it.

Just installed the 3.2 pulley. I know it will take a little for the PCM to learn, but still rich and no KR. Will monitor for a few days and go from there.
Might go ahead and order a 3.0 and have it handy.
Oh yeah......................I love the way this thing pulls. I am still glad I went with a cam instead of just rockers, even when you are doing 70 mph you can feel it.

That sux! I'm so spoiled here with 94 octane non ethanol fuel.....even if it does cost $120 for a fill up.Massive burnout in front of a gas station. I was pissed. They no longer have non-ethanol 92 octane in town. Have to drive 15 fooking miles for it now.
I'm having a hard time finding octane booster. Will need to stock up before next years Oregon visit.
I replaced the 10 amp meth injection arm switch with a 20 amp unit on the Bullet. Less voltage drop between the controller, pump and check solenoid.
Inhaled some rubber smoke from the Bird.

Took mine to the exhaust centre today to have a rattling sound investigated. Turned out to be the cat breaking up, as I suspected.

Put in a new Low Coolant Sensor, new rear window motor, new accessories belt, and new AC compressor (a bearing was bad). No more whining from the engine bay. The car sound like a luxuary car should!

I didn't do this today but on Friday (Sept 30th) went to both junks yards near by just hoping for some thing good the first one didn't find much, the second one found a 2000 se and kinda walked by it at first and then on the way out was like might as well take a look and jack pot found out it had the black buttons. Went home installed rear window buttons, front lock and pass window buttons, hazard button and fog and head light buttons all black now
then gave it a nice wash and vacuum.
