yea I know to some it may be hi, but I have exactly what they are looking for with new everything... Thats something they know they wont have to worry about.. All I want is to get my money back on the double din, and the aeroforce.. the tires and the intake work would have happened anyways.. They know I want 6500 for it, as they have seen sseis and SLEs at dealers for 8k with about 120k miles that arent in the condition mine is in nor does it have updated everything pretty much...
Only thing I know mine needs is a power steering pressure line, and I need to figure out whats going on with the compressor for the rear shocks.. Took the old one out, tested it, it works fine, So now need to seee if it is the RIM or some other electrical issue

Your car is really only worth about $3000 at the most. I would be doing good to get $2200. It doesn't matter how much you put into it. That doesn't change the Kelly Book price. Plus it's not like its a 1966 GTO. The money you would put into the GTO you could get it back as an investment. And your right, there isn't anything good out there for sale less than $4500.

Umm, there is a huge difference in value between a 96 SE and a 2000 SSEi. His car is worth twice as much as you say it is.

Idk what you put into KBB, but it's definitely not a 2000 SSEi with 120k...

a car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. You have a seller, and you have a buyer, price agreed, sold.
Regardless of what some generally sell for. I have paid really good money for cars and got 10x the car as opposed to buying market value and buying a turd. I always gladly pay the price if something is worth it to me in my opinion. People willing to pay share the same opinion. I have ads on kijiji, gotten insults and offers all in the same day. Usually the insults, or rude comments are just pathetic low lifes with nothing better to do. Doesnt bother me in the least. I laugh actually. Find it entertaining. The other replies are people intrested in buying it. Take the good with the bad. As long as you have thick skin selling something, then wait it out and get what you what. Being desperate to sell or hard up for money isnt a good thing when trying to sell anything. I set my price. People either buy it or not. I dont care. If it sells it sells, if it dont , it dont. If I want it gone then I sell cheap. I have sat on stuff for long periods of time but got exactly what I wanted for it.
All depends on situtation. I dont need money so waiting for right buyer isnt an issue with me. Best of luck on your sale and or decision. Nice car btw

I am not saying about the price for my 96. I am just saying what his 2000 would be worth.
