You know what those "Electric Superchargers" really are? Computer case fans....

Not ALL electric superchargers are snake oil or computer fans. MOST are. Some are actual superchargers driven by an electric motor (powered by extra batteries) for an occasional boost somewhat like nitrous.

Any 'fan' looking thing that goes before the throttle body is actually a restriction to the natural air flow of an engine of our displacement.

:stupid:

The only Electric S/C that could work would be a centrifugal supercharger with an actual electric motor that was powered by batteries in the trunk. However, the weight of the batteries in the trunk would probably be more than the parasitic loss of HP through the belt, so it would still only be for bragging rights.

Ed, they are also made with M62's (positive displacement roots) and work quite well. Not just Centrifugal.

i have a 2001 SSEi and i would recomend the pulstar spark plugs, i have put the pulstars in my bonneville and have noticed the difference. my bonni runs at 0-60 at 6.5 before with NGK sparks and now that i have put the Pulstar i am running 6.3 for 0-60, they honestly do make a differnce in perfomance. and for the fuel economy it's true. i was averaging 22.4mpg now i average 23.9 driving the same way.

Your gain in performance wasn't the plugs, and your fuel mileage increased because the winter blend fuels have been switched to summer. There are a number of explanations why your numbers changed, and the simple fact is that there is only a certain amount of potential energy in a cylinder full of fuel and air, and the spark that ignites it has very little do do with how much energy it produces.

You are as much of a victim as anyone that bought a tornado for their intake. This company has been proven to be ripoff artists, and have changed their name and the name of their product in order to shake their poor reputation from the LAST amazing spark plug they released.

I know it's not the answer you wanted to hear, but you just paid enough for a lifetime of GOOD spark plugs and gained nothing from them.
