This is why red only lasted for a week on my 95.

Yes that red looks good and HOT!
Matt, if you don't paint those puppies red, like the majority of us who attend WCBF, I'll paint them myself in July.......only a slightly pinker shade.
RED
It's just a hint of what's under the hood, peeking thru those swoopy wheels.

...and how long does it take to dull the red with heat and brake dust? About a week, and it then it looks just fine.
I'll admit that painting those rear drums red would look pretty bad.

This would take quite a bit more time, but what about chrome. Polish them up an get a clear powder coat.
That was something I half considered when I did mine, but in the end I thought it would clash to much with the wheels...so eh.
Better idea:
What If you painted them black, but got red or chrome "Pontiac" & "SSEi" caliper decals from ZZP.
It would still be subtle but a little color/shine to catch your eye.

It's been four years now and the decals are still all perfectly intact.
......not that many miles though and no winter driving.

I had considered all the various colours shown about before deciding on red.
On my Formula I chose body colour blue. I wish I had gone with red. Never too late.
On the Jeep they had been silver for a long time.
Now they are red!
I went red for the Trans Am.
Red just looks right.

I LIKE IT!!!!!!
I was going to paint mine red, but since I just seen yours (and our colors are somewhat similar), silver will DEFINITELY be the way to go.

I'm painting mine dark blue...not to much contrast but gives it some color. My headlights have a blue tint too.

The winner is.......................silver. Don't mind the dirty car, rainy days here.
