looks pretty good, did you use a grey primer or just the black that was on it already?
I sanded the black to rough it up and shot it with a couple of coats of grey primer, I'm wondering if maybe I should have gave it a coat of the silver first under the blue?

OK Paul. I was at the parts place today and the guy that mixed my paint wanted to see what kind of job I did. He took one look at the hood and said that he could get a closer match and brought out some sort of colour recognition camera.
I came back in an hour to find a quart of paint waiting for me...... no charge. I'll find out next weekend how close it matches the rest of the truck.
