problem fixed...
took me three hours to know whats going on..

i measure the voltage on every wire on the amp when the stock deck is in and then i measured it again when the aftermarket deck is in..

there two pink wires in the amp.. (one was light pink other was alittle darker i beleive)
in the stock deck on pink read 12v and the other one read 0
in the pioneer deck on both pink wires read 12v

so look at this harness
Image
you can see there are three wires

top row pin 3 and pin 6
bottom row pin three

alll three wires are connected together from pac into one signal wire

well thats wrong for some reason.. gotta do some search online to see why and waiting on some wire schemetics

so basically i seperated all three blue wires and im only running one of them.. top row in the picture pin 3

pin 6 on top row and pin 3 on bottom were are disconnected and deck works fine..

still didnt install it yet
i duno if what i just said makes any sense :eek2: :bluetwitch:
hoping someone would give me some tips on trimming the dash before i start

You don't need to trim dash, just the plastic behind the radio. It's a PITA because of all the cables behind that radio, but it will fit! Just take your time.

I went out a bought a dremel. I had been wanting one anyway. Haven't gotten to the cutting yet, though.

I have one at home I can look at, but I won't be back there until Friday. Got to work at 07:45, got called out at 07:55 and haven't been at our station all day long. Right now I'm at another station so I still haven't had time to get that info for you. Hopefully tonight. This day has been crazy. To top it all off, I just looked out the window and it's SNOWING AGAIN! UGH!

I do. I've never tried to connect it because it's a real PITA to remove and re-install my navigation unit (and I also don't have an aftermark HU to play with). It was sent to me by another member so I could try and work on some solutions to get these working. I've had some ideas, but just haven't had enough time to put in a really dedicated effort.
