I have to finish the drivetrain install in the SE, get the paint looking good, stereo install in the Suburban, detail the '03, cut the grass a dozen times, and haul two or three cars in to the scrap yard...

Wow, I didn't realize there was an event like this so close to home. This sounds interesting, so count me in. I highly doubt that my Lesabre will be back on the road by then though, I am still trying to track down parts.

There are many people with projects that may or may not be finished by the meet, it will be a great time either way though and you don't want to miss it!

It sounds like it. After having read through everything, I would be looking at arriving early Friday afternoon since I don't have very far to drive (About 40 mins). I would be good for money toward food, and if you had a spot for a tent or a sleeping bag, either would be awesome. If not, I wouldn't be opposed to driving home at night. Other than that, now I have one more event to look forward to next month.

Tons of room for a tent, everyone attending at this point could bring their own 40 ft camper and I would still have room there may still be floor space too yet as well.

If my Saab could pull a 29' camper...

Looks like I have the tuning situation figured out now. Stopping by Dyno Brian's shop on the way up for dyno tuning

This shouldn't effect my arrival time, I'll be leaving the house about 3/4 hours ahead of when I planned to, still working on scheduling at the moment though. Dyno Brian is just outside of the I-270 loop to the west. So Gweg and Cody, if you guys aren't opposed to it, you guys and whoever else is joining the caravan, could both just meet up with me there probably, since we'll all be heading that direction from the city anyways. And that gives you guys a little bit of a larger window to be ready and meet up with us.

How many cars are actually going to be here this year? I am thinking this will be one of the biggest meets I have had at my house (the meets I held down in Detroit at the larks were bigger) it would be awesome to see 20+ cars here!

William, once you get your schedule nailed down, I can figure out when Tim and I can meet up with you. If you're passing through on I-70 at a decent time, we still might be able to jump in on the convoy (Tim is a very earlier riser).

Never been to Dyno Brian's before. Was actually planning on stopping there this spring to get some kinks tuned out (mainly the possible false knock), but Pat offered to tune instead, but I haven't even got far enough with mine yet to even bother. But it might be good to know where that's at (I'm a visual guy, as I like seeing the places in person instead of trying to locate by map) in case I want to go there for some dyno/tuning.

But, yeah, once I know your schedule, I'll plan for Tim and myself.

And Ryan, it does look like it's going to be huge this year!

I'll nail down a route at some point, I know normally the GPS has me on Rt. 33 right through Cody's neighborhood.

I may only be there on Friday to Sunday with Chicago Ryan. Carpooling ftw. I'll keep y'all posted though.

I really need to start planning to make my car look presentable (still a mess from being parked under a tree for 6 weeks). I also wanted to get my exhaust tips installed before going, but no shop seems to want to take on the project, so looks like I will be showing up with the same old stockers!

Just got around to mapping this thing out. If this was in a more interesting part of the country, Id be down, but 760 miles each way to go to a town thats literally in the top 5 on my list of places I dont want to go is a tough sell. Lol. I mean, thats over $300 in gas.

It's the Michigan meet, that's the whole point of it. Royal Oak is a very nice area and the rest of the meet at my place is always a great time. I couldn't tell you anything about any good spots to visit on the way here or back, only that the destination is worth it for a good time.

Here's something interesting, don't be a little sissy. I'm equally as far from you and Booze is twice the distance and we're making the trek.
