LMAO! I'll second that. Considering the number of knuckleheads together at one place I think Don's home faired well... and we didn't burn anything that truly wasn't garbage...or soon to be.

From the looks of the pics I missed a really good time. Sorry I had to miss it again. I'm glad everyone had fun. I really wanted to get a close up look at "Trixie" and her bottle feed.

Well stick around. We may hold the next SEBF in another state closer to the rest of the club in another state. We'll see how things go...

Somewhere colder works for me. It's ~15-17 hours to the middle of SC from here.

I'm all about SC also. My daughter and family now live there, so I'd be fine with a meet in SC.

Isn't there somebody up in Lancaster, SC with a Domino's? That's not that far off of I-77. It'll at least be pretty country, if nothing else to do. And assuming he'd be willing to host. There's not a ton to do up there, either.

I know Columbia fairly well, having lived there for 2 years. Unfortunately, there aren't any members there. Hosting would be a problem. Hilton Head is a very nice resort area, and Savannah, GA is nearby. That's more a vacation than a meet, however.

It seems the problems for a SC meet would be finding a place to meet!

That's me!! Sorry I haven't been able to respond lately. Business is good and that means more work. While I am flattered that you guys would like to come to my state for a meet, I must say that unless planned for far in advance and carefully picked the right weekend, I wouldn't be able to host one. My house is not ready for company due to long term rennovations :banghead: ,and hell, I can't find the time to attend any other meets much less plan one. But if you want to plan something here in SC, I would recommend Myrtle Beach, it's gorgeous and not too expensive in the off-season, or if you wanted to stay here in Lancaster there are cheap motels, Jamison Inn, Super 8, Holiday Inn Express and we could do some stuff in Charlotte, NC. Lowes Motor Speedway has a dirt track and a new Zmax 4 wide drag strip, there's the NASCAR Hall of Fame. We could invade the Sonic Drive In here in town, they have one night a month for Hot Rods to show off. There's a smaller drag strip in Jefferson, SC, that's about 30 minutes from Lancaster. So there would be stuff to do, I just couldn't offer any place to stay. Hope this helps and I'll keep an ear out for any planning.

That sounds pretty cool, and much closer for me as well. Visiting the speedway, Nascar Hall of Fame and the ZMax raceway are all on my list of places to visit someday. So I'd be game for a meet in SC if that worked out, well heck, I'd be game for wherever SEBF is, lol. I've been coming for 4 years from a state that's not even on the SEBF Shirts! :P

But to throw this out there, I am looking to host some sort of meet here in Va. this coming year. I posted about something a few months back and had a little interest. But I was looking to bring the idea back around and see if there's any more interest and possibly pick some dates and such. I'm not sure how far everyone is willing to travel though. Link to the Va. Hmmm... Looks like we may have to add Virginee to the shirt, since you have been to most of them. We need a new design this year anyway, IMO.

I just came back from the Thanksgiving weekend in Hilton Head. Had a great time. Since we have plenty of time to plan, we can look for an affordable place to meet somewhere further North, that's for sure. Maybe a campground or something.

Let's all give it some thought and work on posting up some ideas.

As long as we don't have a definite member's location to meet at (other than Booze of course) I'd like to throw out the suggestion of perhaps meeting in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. I know the area well and there are some fantastic driving roads.
