Congrats! Having a garage is the best! You'll have to share some pics of the new workspace. Happy moving.

Unfortunately, the project reached a point where the car was found to be unusable. I found more rust that was very structural in the from to the car and sadly I doubt that it is truly fixable without body shop equipment.

But this is not the end for my project because I had a couple of months to figure things out after the car was found to be a safety issue. I found a new car that I can work with and I would ask that people keep an eye out for the Phoenix. It shouldn't be too long at this point.

Sure hope you can use most of the progress you made with the Lazarus project on the Phoenix project. The Buick was a good looking car. - BC

You won't find me disagreeing with you there. The Buick always cleaned up nice. But the new car is also an H body so no, I didn't let the work go to waste.

What other rust did you find? Did you get any pics of it?

This is really disappointing, especially with the work you have invested in the shell so far in regards to rust repair.

It's a shame you don't live closer. You could have totally picked up my Olds for cheap, and we don't have to deal with this rust crap.

*sigh* I wish I would have known

Sorry bud.

Besides the inner fenders being gone in the front, there were holes found in the upper frame rails in front of the strut towers. Then a issue was found at the bottom of the passenger side a pillar where it met the floor and the inner rocker.
