And if Ryan's car is broken (likely) you're welcome to ride with me, not like I have an expected passenger otherwise. :)

Getting closer guys! I can hardly wait, so many things to do yet though and only a few more weekends left. Brakes, control arm, interior door handles, full interior cleaning, and a polish. Maybe a coolant flush and aux cable for tunes on the way, hope the ‘ole girl is as ready for all these miles as I am! Gonna be floating right around 1,500 total.

Any of you familiar with Yuengling traditional Lager beer? My girlfriend had it when she was in Pittsburgh and talks about how great it was. Wondering if someone could pick me up a few cases as it is not available anywhere around here. Closest availability to MI looks like Toledo. I can offer some Michelob Golden Light if anyone wants as that’s an exclusive to our area here ;)

Am familiar with it. They sell it in Ohio as well now. I'd be willing to pick up a couple of cases in exchange for gas in the Cutlass (the thing is not 'fuel friendly')

Speaking of which, I believe the coolant leak is fixed in the Cutlass. Testing said fix on Saturday when I drive down to help Greg. Of course, my dumba$$ forgot to put the coolant overflow cap back on the tank after I filled it with coolant on Sunday, so Ive got a redneck engineered replacement cap (two pieces of duct tape) to hold me over until I get an actual replacement.

Only a few more things to tackle. Most major one before the meet: turn signal switch, so the po-po's dont pop me (again...got tagged with a warning on Tuesday for doing 49 in a 35).

That’d be awesome! I’d take 4 cases plus whatever you think is fair for gas and your time. How far out of the way is it for you?

Glad to hear you got it fixed! What did it end up being? Don’t feel too bad, I took the reservoir hose off my radiator when I replaced the trans lines and forgot to put it back on. Luckily I caught it before I backed out of the garage though. I had the car running checking for leaks and such and as it warmed up it started spitting out of there and I caught it.

Its no issue at all. I can get it here in Canton pretty easily. As we get closer, just pop me a reminder somewhere and I'll see it done. No issue for time, since I can get it as part of a normal trip to the store. Just gas and we're good. I'll get you a better estimate though.

The coolant leak ended up being the heater control valve. There was coolant spewing all over the bell housing to the tranny. Not only was the valve bad, but the hoses werent in great shape either. I also had to do a little creative engineering of the hose, since the aftermarket vale has the nipples reversed (the pics in my signature have detailed views of what I mean). Just need to log some distance on it to make sure its fixed, since I intend to drive it to MI next month. Dont want to have to stop every 30 minutes to put coolant in it.

Indeed, it's getting closer, and I'm beginning to lose my mind. Currently, my Bonneville is sitting in the drive way, covered in dirt and pollen, with much of the interior out, and the rear bumper hanging off the back the car. I meant to get a lot of little nagging stuff fixed, but problems and delays have been pushing the project back, and I'm getting a bit nervous. I've even had to cancel some of my project ideas because of time and money issues.

Hopefully, with Tim's help, we can get a lot accomplished this weekend, as I want to at least be able to put the carpet and driver's seat back in by Sunday night.

Well, due to my latest car related issues, and my latest life related issues, this meet is going to be tough to make. At the worst I'll be there in the G8 a day or two late. But i am still planning to make it. As long as I'm not homeless and jobless that is.

I call a space for my twin XL air mattress. That's all I need. And beer. Lots of beer.

I remember calling floor space for my twin air mattress. But if I didn't I do now.

I may ride with Ed on this one. If I'm still jobless with a broken SSEi. :banghead:

So i have confirmed that I will defiantly be there for the meet. I think I am the only one coming from the west that I have seen but maybe not, if anyone is going the I-80 route from Nebraska to Michigan that could convoy down that would be cool, otherwise ill just have the radio for company lol. Also as far as what to bring for food can I assume we will go shopping and i just need money? Idk if i'm forgetting anything but just want to make sure i am prepared for 800 miles of driving and not end up without something when i'm already there.

There's plenty of stores in town, we can pick up anything we might need. We must have confused the cashier at meijer with all the different state and country id's last year.
