I agree. Those guys were amazing. I ended up looking up their website: http://www.chicagowiseguys.com/

I'm sorry to hear guys. I just got my exhaust fixed this morning. If it wasn't for that, I would have been there yesterday.

I'll let it be known when I head out to the track if I'm going to race or help one of you out, but no more meets.

Jake, where the hell were you? I called, left a message, and never got a reply. This is a repeat of last year when you went into hiding. I'm very frustrated and tired of how weak meets have become lately.
A lack of participation does suck.
I was going to make the trip up but work, and a baptism got in the way this weekend. My wife isn't keen on me going out to do car things that she is not too interested in. I told her I would be busy this weekend, and she made plans anyway. :angry4: (Women!)

Don't let it get you down. Pick an event, like a car show, and have the meet at the show. It may get more people interested. Sometimes though, things come up and schedules conflict.

Are there any Pontiac shows being hosted by a Pontiac dealer near you? If not, recommend one for 09' that will drum up more people to come out and show their Pontiacs. There is a Ford club by me that does that every June. It is also a great place to do a parts swapmeet.

These are just suggestions. I know it is a pain to organize things.
I am in several aquarium clubs and am on the Board of Directors for 2 of them. I also attend meetings of an Astronomy club with the kids where everyone brings their telescopes and learns things about the stars from the club Pro's. Attendance can be hit or miss. It is just part of the organizing game.

I do understand your frustrations though. Don't let them discourage you.
Thanks, Rich :)
