Well, it looks like I'll be able to head out the morning of Wednesday, June 9. I guess I'll stay through Friday then, maybe leave Saturday morning, if that's all right, Ryan. Danny will be coming with me again, and I will be bringing the Bonneville, as it is running again, finally, after 8 months.

Good to hear! Too bad you can't make it for Sunday the 6th though for the track day though Oh well, either way it will be a good time when you make it up here, we should still have a couple stragglers hanging around by then

So Ryan, what time do you think the Friday dinner will occur? I'd like to join everyone for that. I'll try to get out of work a bit early, like at 3:30. that would put me to your place by about 5:45, give or take. Think that'll work?

Hard to say for sure, depends on when any early arrivals show up. Probably know more within a week or two of the meet.

For the first time in 3 years, I'm out... Money isn't coming in fast enough, I don't even know if I have a job for this summer, and my tax refund was just not as big as I thought it would be. Have fun without me...

i'd like to know the hotel's nearby and prices just in case the tent doesn't get repaired in time.

The Cutlass The plan right now is to have the engine rebuilt and be putting it back in during Memorial Day weekend, and break it in and put plenty of miles on it to be safe to take to the track on the 6th. Hoping to be DEEP into the 13s and eat some G8s alive

It is the Coleman Car Show, put on by the Rod Benders Street Association. They have a car / bike show, burnout competition, and usually a mobile chassis dyno. My friend Chris took first place last year for highest horsepower gas V8 with 416 hp at the tires in his '01 Lightening
