Thanks Lee. :)

When I'm done tuning I should be at 230ish whp with a healthy torque curve.

Thanks guys. Here's a pic with the exhaust tips I finished up the other week. The pipes are tucked and the bumper is notched so it doesn't hang low and look out of place.
And.. that's the garage it'll be kept from now on.

Don't be fooled by the numbers. Those numbers are with every off the shelf n/a mod you could buy plus more. A top swap would probably be an 1/8th of the price and net you more torque at that power level.
I do it because it's more interesting to me.

Yep. I looked for something that I thought would be close enough and modified it to fit. It was for a newer Camry.

You got a new house and now your car has a proper house as well!! So happy to see that amazing Bonneville in a nice sparkly garage, I'm sure you are too of course haha. Love seeing the tips installed, they're perfect!

I have always loved your car. The thing I like most is that its not boosted! It takes a level of talent and fabrication to get a N/A bonnevile to the level you have yours at. That car sounds mean as hell too.

I totally understand. That's why some part of me wants to either turbo or build her up high compression like you did. Top swaps may not be common on Pontiac Bonneville Club, but every other 3800 forum or place, they're no big deal really. I'm just in between right now. I still truly admire your work to your car, and it has to be my favorite Bonneville of all time. The mirror like paint, the stance, the sound, the looks. It really does rock. I look forward to seeing more!

Not that there is any gains besides looks for this but, if you are looking to spruce up the engine bay some more i would do a upper intake manifold swap to the series 3 aluminum one. I love the looks of this on my car although you do lose the spark plug wire clips built into the stock one and you have the newer MAP sensor hanging out to seal up the pcv under it. Here's a pic of mine. Image

I've got at least 3 of those UIMs around somewhere but I'd rather have the stock/black one. I like the contrast.

I still have to tuck the spark plug wires/coils/engine harness, and install the polished VCs/tensioner/alt too.

FWIW, you can loose that MAP sensor by using the PCV cap from the 95's UIM.

You probably have one of the best looking Bonnie's I've ever seen. I'm a huge fan of subtle, yet strong changes and yours is gorgeous. I would've never though to add the headlights from a late model E39. Awesome work man.

Thanks!

I've been working on it a lot in my garage. I hope to get it out by the spring/summer.

I'll be updating this thread with highlights soon but I drove the car with the F40 6-speed swap for the 1st time last night. I've been casually working on it for a year or so whenever I was on travel for work.
