There is also four or five more that are on the fence as well as I will have a friend or two here. My Griot's polisher arrived today so we have that to play with as well as my dad should be here with his van full of tools and all sorts of goodness to help out with any mechanical repairs that need done while here.

We will, as always, make a couple parts store runs as well as some runs to the store for food or drinks. One week away guys!!!

I'm gonna try and install the subframe connectors that weekend. Should only be an hour or two, its all bolt-up. *knock on wood*

No traditional Michigan brake job this time

Is it just me or are there going to be more G8s than Bonnevilles?

Actually the last few meets the Bonnevilles have definitely been the minority here.

As I said, I would have brought the Bonneville, but it still doesn't have working A/C, and I just don't trust it for the drive with all the knock that it is making.

I am getting very excited, and can't wait! I wish I could buy some parts to install while there, but I don't have enough cash right now. It will still be fun to just hang out with everyone, though!

It's looking to me like the Bonneville ratio will be higher this year vs. previous regardless of which cars Will or Gweg choose bring. :beerchug:

....and then there's that ST in the corner. :dontknow:

Looks like I might be catching a ride with Booze. Since I have no one riding with me this year, and he's coming right across my town, I think I'll be joining him. I have no problem with not driving and not bringing my own car.

I'll know for sure as the meet approaches, but for now, this looks like the plan.

No worries guys, I have three Bonnevilles here right now anyway

I also have the Cutlass, Mercedes, and my Z71 though, so looks like that sort of throws that ratio off already...

Was thinking, if I bring my tail lights and center from the Bonneville, maybe I could get a few of you to help me clear the corners and tint them?

I know this was something I was supposed to do when I went to see Will in Illinois, but kind of forgot. . . #-o

Or you could also buy my GXP center and passenger tail lights to go with your spoiler! :P jk

I'd bring Penny but A) It'll be easier to ride along with Will and B) G8 > SLE.

On another note. All my GXP items are for sale for stupid cheap to anyone at the meet because I need them gone.

These are the prices I'm willing to go with.

Cluster: 75
Center light: 100
Passenger light: 100
Shifter, button is popped out though. That being said, 25 bucks.
Climate control: 40
and heated seats/trac buttons: 30

I would definitely love those GXP tails, but I'm pushing funds as it is. The GXP spoiler I can do right now, although I might be interested in the shifter.

I want to do the GXP taillight conversion down the road, and the black button conversion, but it's all going to have done one piece at a time.

I'll help clear the tails. I've got that down. Tinting not so much.

Yeah I'm definitely going to be the odd one out, lol.

While I'm at it, I might not be able to make it until Saturday afternoon, which probably won't give me anytime for detailing but w/e... Work has picked up and I'm working Saturdays again,(making hourly makes it bittersweet, though) but I honestly haven't asked for a day off the entire time I've worked here so I'm hoping my boss will give me a break... We'll see.

Considering how sticky these tires are, it would more likely be the clutch than the engine, haha :P
