Not doing that. Everytime I meet someone in person, they always comment how nice my ads are and how easy it is to see what they are buying.
Back when I first got it, some guy came over for some Regal parts, and was eyeing the PAU. He asked how much I wanted for it, I ballparked $3k and he said he was interested. He just called me and said he still has the $3k if I want to let it go. I told him $3500 min right now. Would be kinda nice to have it gone right now though... we'll see.

i honestly believe you'd get $3500 for it. thats a *dang* nice car as it stands. We looked at its twin before we bought the bonneville. Not kidding either. i think the only differences were is that it MAY have been a '97(dont remember) and instead of having the black dash trim or whatever it is called, it was the wood grain look. Sharp car.

Yeah, my Grand Prix GT and Regal GS part out postings have been getting flagged too. I think someone in the STC/Metro area might be to blame and I have a feeling I might even know who is flagging mine -someone we both know is upset we're successfully doing these part outs/fix-up-n-flips.

Pretty sure I got a guy convinced to buy the PAU for $3500 delivered to Duluth this weekend. Calling me back in 15 min. If I can sell both cars this weekend that would be awesome.

Rust on the bottom of the doors is a real pain to repair. The first thing that happens is the rubber weather stripping falls off and hangs outside the door. Real ugly mess if you have ever experienced. Wire brush, prime and use some POR as soon as possible before the fastening holes enlarge. Need to do the inside too because it rusts from the inside out usually........then the door skin separates and flops around. It can only take one winter season to accelerate beyond simple repair.

Usually in the fall I take some Marvel Mystery oil or any other pentrant oil in a spray can and shoot it up into the drain holes at the bottom of the doors. I keep sprayin until it drips out. Wipe off the excess and leave it alone.

This thing won't sell.
I started it at $3800, then 3400, then 3300, then straight to 3000. Had a few calls but no lookers. I'm probably going to end up letting it go for $2500 or so

Last summer when I had the 98 PAU with only 97K on the ticker, I couldn't sell it either. Was a real PITA to sell. I ended up selling mine for $2,700.
There just doesn't seem to be too much demand for them.
