Michigan area meet, July 11th - 18th UPDATE 7-5 first post

I'm not sure I'll be able to attend yet. It's way too far out there for me to remotely know! I'll either be in St. Helen or Grand Blanc....

But. If you guys are looking for yards, hit up any of the six or so in Flint. Most are even open on Sundays and they couldn't care less about people walking the yards. They're all within eight miles of each other.

I should have no problems using some of my vacation time in mid-July.

As long as the cam is in and the car is cooperating I'm a go!

The kickoff for the meet will be held at Kensington Metropark on July 11th, time TBD.

For those traveling from far away, there are a few options.... You can come out to my house Friday if you wish so you don't have to leave at midnight the night before to make it to the park, or you can skip the park meet and go directly to the house, or, you can just show up late for the meet.

I am going to have to say it's "doubtful" for my attendance now... I am starting a new job this month and I lose 1/2 my vaca, have to earn vacation before I can take any, and that will be a very busy time for this new job - not sure if I'd be able to get any time off. If I can, I will...but I really won't know the situation until a few months from now.

Yup, week long meet. Will start off on Saturday the 11th at Kensington Metropark, then we will end up at my house later on that day and then go from there.

There are still plans in the works to try for a track day, but not 100% sure if we can yet.
I am also going to start calling around for prices on canoe rental for a day long canoe trip if everyone is interested in that.

I can, but thats why I have a cottage for, I'm just not interested in driving 6 hours to canoe when I can just drive 1.5 to do the samething..
