X2, I'd rather have a system that solves the problem, not one that tries to and fails.Gumball wrote:I'd rather have a heated windshield.

I installed a hotshot heated wiper fluid system on my C3. Works pretty good. I've also tried the heated blades, but they sucked. IT works great on snow and ice, and just as good on bugs and dirt in the winter. I can really tell the difference.

Old school DYI is to wrap some copper tubing around the exhaust and replumb the washer line through it.

mmmmmm, 100+ degree washer fluid hitting an ice cold windshield. Hopefully you don't have any rock chips cuz they will swiftly turn into cracks.

ddalder installed an GM OEM unit on his 04 GXP about a year ago. I just talked with him about a week ago and he is still in love with it and wants to help me mod it onto my car.
