Just letting you guys know that I have this program and you're welcome to ask me what fits what...Unfortunately it doesn't have EVERYTHING but most parts are on it.

Example: Say you want to know what engine will fit your 1995 Bonneville? I can tell you.

This is the same program the salvage yards use.

It's not always correct, I have found, but it's rarely wrong.

Just throwing my services out there.

It does, but doesn't always show everything that fits, plus some yards aren't using them yet.

This is especially useful at Pull-your-part yards where the office isn't friendly...lol!

BUT, if a yard doesn't have what you need - I've come across that a LOT with my Cutlass convertibles - then car-part will say "no parts were found." The interchange isn't there at that point.

Also plays a large role is if the yard will pull the part you're looking for.

Like a valve cover off a motor. Most yards won't sell them separate, they'd much rather sell it with the engine as a complete assembly and get more money for their engine.

Or parts that they don't inventory like Sunvisors, shift knobs floor mats, etc.
