B0101 - Front impact Sensor - part number?

Post by zombie112 »

Hi Bonneville Gang,

Looking for a little bit of information and also a possible lead on the part. Today my car greeted me with a b0101 Discard front impact sensor code. Doing a little bit of research, I found two separate part numbers and I just want to make sure I'm getting the right one. Is there any way to know? or am I just going to have to pull the sensor and check the number?

25764117(i found one used) and 25725855(NIB), I can't find any info as far as if they are interchangeable or not other than one ebay listing saying they are.

I haven't done any further testing or checked anything else regarding it yet, other than scanning to see what the code is. if anyone has any suggestions feel free to add them.

05 SE.

Contact Andrew at Bonnevilles Unlimited. He's a certified Bonneville god and can hook you up with the correct part.

I ended up finding the part number being 25764117, took a picture with a mirror. Nobody locally has it as it's been discontinued for a while, but found the dorman equivalent 590-211 locally with only one in stock, and got it for a good price through a shop I used to work at. Changed it today(pulled the SIR fuse first), so we'll see how it goes!
