Climate control

Post by Bonneville'n »

I've been having an issue with my climate control, it only works on full heat (90 degrees) or full cold (60 degrees) anything in between it's not accurate. Is there a thermostat or temperature sender that could be faulty? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It could be the temperature blend door actuator messing up on you. Andrew probably has one and might know more about the issue.

ok clarification requested...are you saying the fans only work when you max the temps out and it forces them on the highest speed setting? and if you set it at another temp in between and manually adjust the fans to highest setting do they come on?

When it's cold outside and i turn it on it blows cold air, if i turn the car off and back on again it will blow hot. But if i set it to 70 degrees and its cold outside it usually blows cold air. I doesn't keep the temperature i set.
