For in car installation I think the front drivers side plug is about the only option.

Cold winters here would be nice to get in a warm car in 5 mins over 15-20mins. Cold as in lower than 20 degrees

Screwdriver through it, pry it out. Drain the coolant out first...

Just FYI but I tried three different heater plugs and toggle bolts and they all had catastrophic blow outs causing total coolant loss.

But I've never had issues before on other vehicles, and plan to reinstall a new one. Continueing within the thread, I found one of my ports in the front head to be sevearly blocked, and might have created excessive pressure resulting in the blow out.
