Two questions

Will a steering wheel with radio controls work in a car that was not originally equipped with them? Does the passanger side door lock switch have a light in it? The only lights that are on in my car are all the switches on the drivers side and the window switch on the passanger side. Thanks

If these cars are like my trucks, the steering wheel controls can probably be added by just adding wiring/pins to the radio. (On my S10, I just had to add a couple pins and run 4 wires total.)

My passenger window switch is dark too, but I figured it was just burnt out. I haven't swapped it out yet to test that theory.

thats gonna be a tough one on the radio controls. I dont have the answer but I do know that there are no wires connecting to the radio. It is a ribbon. I think someone called it a lock and dock system. I just put an aftermarket cd player in my car and found this out when I had to pay 80 bucks for a wiring harness.

on my 03 the passenger door lock lights up. But right now it is burned out
