amsoil and K&N both sell high flow drop-in filters. i like the amsoil because it doesn't require oiling. contact LakevilleSSEI (member here) about getting the amsoil filter

beat me to it. PM him and find out

I am on Amsoil.com and there is the amsoil filter for $38.10 and also a WIX filter for $10.95. I have never heard of WIX before? Does amsoils filter add HP like the K&N is suppose to? It doesn't say anywhere that it does.

High flow filters just RELEASE a few more horses, they just let the engine breathe more. Which =

I don't think wrapping the stock airbox will do much good. I've never heard of anyone doing it. Your filter is already shielded from the engine compartment air by the box. That is sufficient.

Cool. Timed my car from 0-60 with a stop watch on my cell phone and was getting any where from 8.00 seconds flat to 8.22 seconds. is this pretty good?

I am at 8.5 but I need to clean my filter and change my plugs so thats a good time. Now we both need to get 0-60 in the 6 second range.
