Since im taking apart the interior to find water leaks, i thought might aswell do a clean Re-q5 install with my new amps.
the re-q needs to cut in between the speaker wires to filter out highs and lows rather than just splice them, so im wondering does anyone have a schematic of color codes on the speaker wires to the speakers, or where an easy acess point is to splice all the wires? 2000 SE btw... im trying to keep it stock as possible for sale in about 6 months, then i can just take out the req and amps and itll be a stock car again.
also you think a 4ch amp can fit under the back seat? :p
Which wires are speaker wires? and easy access?

Re: Which wires are speaker wires? and easy access?
If the amp is around the size of an Alpine PDX series amp, it should fit.. I'm thinking the only real area in the dash to hook up a reQ would be at the connector where the ribbon changes to wires, I think you have to remove the dash pad to get to the connector... All of that would be a lot of work tho. Maybe that would be a decent place to tap into a remote turn on for the amp too?
