Should my car burn alot of gas when the heat is going cause it do.

When the heat is on my gas hand drops dramatically is that normal lol!!

A) No. It shouldn’t. But that doesn’t mean it can’t. How it could be, I don’t know. Anything is possible I suppose. Having worked in service, I quickly learned “never say never”.

B) We aren’t your home boyz, communicating between iPhones or other text enabling device. Communicate with us using the gift of the English language and the intelligence you posses in that rock on your neck. This is the ability that we as human beings have been blessed with over other mammals. That’s not to say, you can’t make mistakes, misspell a word here or there, because I know I screw up regularly too! It’s the language you used in your first post of this thread, and the language used in your other thread in this section. You then followed it up with “wat?” It’s spelled WHAT! There is an “H” in there.

I know that point B was probably longer than it should’ve been, but this dumbing down, “slanging”, and text speak that is considered the norm now, drives me up a wall. Especially when you're asking for advice.

One thought I have, and it may be a stretch, a head gasket is blown, leaking into the combustion chamber. Water/coolant mix doesn’t ignite easily. The PCM, in order to compensate and keep the thing running, would add more fuel.

However, I would think you’d notice a couple things;
1) Misfiring
2) White smoke out the tailpipe
3) Oil looks like a milkshake from oil and coolant mixing potentially
4) You would be low on coolant at some point in time.

At an even farther stretch, and possibly related, you’re now low on coolant. When you use your heat, it siphons off hot coolant into the heater core. Now with it already being low, the water pump isn’t lubricated by the fluid/as much fluid as should be normal, causing some level of seizure (meaning it’s harder to turn the pump). If it’s harder to turn the pump, you have to compensate by giving it more gas to maintain idle, as well as acceleration when needed. Once again, a REALLY long stretch there.

Check your grounds. I'd guess they share one of the ground busses underneath the door sills, and if there's corrosion, all kinds of goofy things can happen when you add strain to the system via using more current to run your heater blower motor.

I'd say this is a gauge/ground issue, not a tank/engine/gas issue.

And please, for the love of god, use sentences, punctuation, spelling that we can at least understand, and concise questions and comments.

If it's electrical though, typically other things are happening that should/shouldn't be with the common wiring bundles. Not discounting it, just that stupid sh*t like your windshield wipers would go on when you turn the heat on type of things.

In colder weather, where you want to use the heat, if your thermostat is bad/weak/stuck open then the engine never reaches operating temps. When that happens, the engine computer uses extra fuel to try to warm it up. Hence, lower mileage. What does your engine temp guage show?

the temp gauge is located on the middle notch and the car heats up pretty fast to me.

Does that middle notch have a number? Different years and sub models got different gauges. My notches may not be your notches, so let's get an actual accurate reading off the gauge.

The temp set at 200 and know i don't normally have it set on defrost always hit auto or econ on the 94 sse model.

The temp gauge is set at 200 when the car is warmed up doesn't go past that!
