This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

2000 Aux input for sound system....

Post by Liability »

Im looking for one of those PAC aux inputs for my car, a 2000 SE.

the only reason i ask is i am confused as to which one works. some say 1996-1999 bonnevilles, some say 2002-2006 bonnevilles and the ones that say 2000 in the timeframe say it needs some sort of cd slave unit....?

i want to put one sub in my car just to get some better sound, nothing crazy, so i got the OEM integration box, and evrything for the sub but i wanted the aux because i have a feeling with my fm transmitter my bass will be terrible....

Thanks for the help guys, and info is apreciated :D

btw, im buying all my stuff off sonicelectronix, so idk if they even stock the right PAC

There is no PAC adapter, it's DIY or nothing. You really have 2 options. Either use an FM Modulator, which wires in line with the antenna, or this method:
